Seven Card Stud Poker Rules
7 Card Stud is the granddaddy of Poker. One of the most difficult poker games to play. 7 Card Stud poker is played with two cards dealt face down and one card dealt face up to each player. There is an initial round of betting which begins with the player directly to the left of the dealer. On conclusion of the first betting round, each player is dealt another card face up and another round of betting occurs. This is repeated until there are 4 cards face up for each player. The final card is dealt face down and the final round of betting occurs. With the conclusion of all the betting, the player with the highest 5 card poker hand wins the pot. If two or more players have the same valued hand the pot is split equally between them.
